Founded by Royal College of Art graduate Xue Qin, CHINCHIN is an independent footwear and accessories label exploring new possibilities in form, material and making.

 

With footwear at the heart of its practice, the studio draws on traditional craftsmanship while embracing evolving materials, processes and methods of fabrication. Technology is approached not as an aesthetic in itself, but as a means of opening up new possibilities for design.

 

Across footwear, accessories and collaborative projects, CHINCHIN develops a distinctive language between softness and structure, precision and irregularity, the natural and the constructed — finding new expressions of romance and poetry through contemporary ways of making.
